These guys keep asking me more questions every day. I really don't want to wait until I can take the head unit back out to answer him. Can you tell me if this is the correct plug for power from memory? Did they ask you the same questions? This is what they sent me.....
They have another picture holding just six connectors, but MI e looks like it has seven. The difference appears to be the one pointed out in my Pic below.
Below is the Pic of the plugs that they are saying they have.
Well, it looks like it has already shipped today! We'll see how long it takes to get here now.
Oh wow, I'm still waiting on my tracking info and I ordered way before you did. Ordered through the ebay link from the original poster. Guess should of went to aliexpress too... lol

Well, I have a tracking number anyways. The shipping company doesn’t recognize it yet, but it just hit last night, so that’s not unusual. AliExpress puts a time limit on the vendor to ship the item or else the purchase is voided. It’s also possible that the vendor just input a tracking number but hasn’t actually shipped it. That’s the pessimist in me talking. We’ll see.
@MX73 I just looked at the ebay link from the same link you ordered from, and noticed that it includes a GPS dongle. There isn't a harness plug to use the factory GPS from Lexus? If not, how is the included GPS dongle? Considering it's from China and included, wondering if I should order another GPS dongle with specific specs, since it doesn't say what the included GPS dongle specs. Was looking at
There are no connectors for the factory gps harness. The included gps dongle work fines. I did order from the link you provide but ended up returning it since the dongle works.
Updated post 2 with my OBDII findings. Basically, the HU can read basic OBD2 info from the vehicle, like speed and RPM. To my surprise, I also gain moving trajectory lines if I have the HU guidelines enabled. My guess is that the HU is also picking up steering angles from the OBD2 system. It will also show which door is open.
I still don't have MPG readings but I do have runtime, avg KMH and lifetime. Added video to post 2.
@MX73 Saw your updated OBD II Connection post, from the video, it seems like it also provided the actual PSI readings of all 4 tires? Or did you have that before? On my car, it only notifies me if my tire pressure is below the threshold, then the TPMS warning comes on, and doesn't exactly say the tire's PSI rating. If that is a bonus to get exact PSI reading when it didn't have it before on stock car, then guess I'll have to connect the OBD II too.
Another question, how is the radio signal/quality of the Tesla HU? On stock head units, they have diversity antenna, where there is a primary antenna, and secondary antenna. I see the Tesla HU only has a jack for the primary antenna. Wonder if getting something like this would improve radio quality since it'll combine both of the antennas into one: http://www.discountcarstereo.com/BAA2634.html
