Extender wheel stud?
Hey guys so I had to add 5mm spacer so my wheel stud is to short now how many mm do you guys recommend would his work ?

I'd recommend you get ARP wheel studs rather than ebay ones. You don't want your new nice wheels falling off while you're driving on the road.
Not to mention the thousands in damage if something were to happen over your studs.

Ok I'll get arp what mm do you recommend I have open lug nuts also with 5mm spacer for the front only no rear
5mm should be ok without extended studs. Or get a spacers with lugs.
just an FYI axles and hub assembly need to be removed if you go ARP extended wheel studs. i have a set sitting just waiting to be put on. i tried putting them on and the only way to get enough room to push the bolt through was to pull out the hub assembly. so if someone finds a way let me know becuase i want to put these things on!
on RWD it may be easier since you dont have axles in the front but the rears will still be a problem. since mine is AWD its a problem at every corner lol.

I was able to do the 3rd gen gs without removing any axles. I followed this link for an is. Is the awd that much different?

i wouldnt really know because ive never had to this on an IS. but for stock studs i can replace them no problem because they are short.
when i tried installing the extended studs there was no way i can get it through. i even removed the e-brake drums to try and get and angle to slide it in (like in the link you posted) and still no go. i think our hubs are different than the IS. unless that guy has shorter extended studs or something.
