Offset Needed to Clear Calipers ?
Just a quick question guys, i recently purchased 19" mags with a crazy offset of +50.
I had completely forgot about the size of the front caliper.
I drive a GS350 2007 awd and was wondering what offset would be enough to clear the calipers ?
Im thinking about getting 15-20mm spacers. Luckily, my mags are 225/35/19 so even with 20 mm it will amount to 245 so in my opinion it should still fit without rubbing the fender.
(im on Tanabe NF210)

7"? you got a setup that's narrower than the factory?
regardless, disk type is the most important part in clearing calipers, not offset. you need high disk wheel otherwise likely won't fit. given the size my guess is maybe 20-25mm, a wild guess
and you sure you want to do 245 on 7"? that's a lot of tire on not so much rim

maybe go with skinnier tires. 225 on a 7" rim seem kinda wide. Plus with your offset being so high and rim width smaller then factory, id assume your wheel would be more sunken into your fender then poking out. Can you post a pic of said 19x7+50 rims?

Im worried that it might be the style of the mags that are just not letting me clear the calipers..

I have no idea what 225x7.5 means? My guess is, you are tring to say is your rims are 19x7.5+50 tire size is 225/40?? My guess would be your rims are the wrong disk type. Nothing to do with offset and tire size.

Because i honestly think your right, i've been experimenting with different sized spacers and they don't seem to be helping out whatsoever... :S
is there any way i can deal with the disk type or is it a lost cause at this point ?
