Minimum offset without spacers
I've searched high and low through old threads but can't seem to find the answer. I'm wheel shopping and all these crazy offsets have me wondering if they would clear my calipers. I'm thinking of going 19 or 20x8.5 or 9 in front and x9.5 or 10 in rear but I can't figure out what offset will clear my calipers. TIA

Offset doesn't make any difference if it will clear calipers. Disc size is what matters. depending on what brand of wheels your getting, you would have to call the company to confirm that it will fit or get the measurements and go from there.
offset is basically the centering of the wheel to the hub if you look at it from the top of the wheel. the higher the offset the more the wheel is pushed towards the center of the car. the lower or more negative the offset is, the more the wheel is pushed away from the car.
hope this helps and good luck hope you can find your answer to those wheels.

it really depends on the wheel. like with the links above. ^ ^^^ it seems like some companies use offset to clear brakes. but i guess if this were the case i would say +28 offset could be your lowest. but again it matters on the design of the wheel.
what wheels are you looking at anyway if you dont mind me asking?
