Puddle light help. One side brighter!!

So my passenger puddle light is brighter than my driver side. I switch bulb and still the same. Is there a fuse or short or something in the car. Don't know what to do. Help please!!

What are the puddle lights even for? It only lights up when you walk next to your car, am I right?

Yes and also it lights up when you unlock the car from the key fob. I installed some vled 5k lights and one side is a lot brighter.

Why shouldn't he be? There's tons of references for puddle lights, I thought OP meant the lights that are underneath the door where half is white half is red. Then there's also people who install puddle lights underneath their side skirts

One side might be malfunctioned. Might want to email VLEDs for a return of the broken bulb. Fuses don't make lights go dimmer, it's a constant voltage. Did the less brighter bulb follow when you swapped it?
