Hello 3GS section! Only two days ago, I picked up a 2008 GS460 from a local seller and fellow forum member. The car is Matador Red Mica on Black. So far, I have been extremely happy with it; it's way more comfortable and faster than my 1998 GS400, although I will be keeping both. Now for a few pictures;

I've never been a big fan of red-ish cars, but I was actually considering this color for my GS. It works on that car. The 4.6 makes it work even better.

 

Love the red, got any plans for the 460 I see the 400 looks pretty good as well.

Congrats on your new baby. I went from an 01 GS 430 to an 09 GS 460 (red) and love it. Just be careful of the paint. It is softer than the black on your old one.

At first, I wasn't either. After seeing this color up close in person on a new IS parked on the showroom floor at the local Lexus dealer, I simply fell in love.

Ah yes, I've noticed that the newer paint is more prone to chipping.

Thank you! It actually is required; I simply run the risk on the black car, but will put one on the red car as it is already drilled for one.

 

Very nice. And I'm with you on the front plates.....I also run without on several of mine, and it's been years since I got hassled. Even if I do, it's a non moving violation

 

Tommy your a BAD MAN..... Great PICKUP man!!!! I'm so jealous now.... Is the acceleration and overall speed THAT much noticeable then the 2GS V8 speeds (GS400-GS430)????? I love the red paint. Looks really nice in the sun. Enjoy your badboys! Keep em condition bro!
