Oil Maint Reqd meaning -not reset
Sorry, couldn't find the answer to this. I know how to reset this, but is this a mileage dependent warning or is it showing something else. I am at 4600 miles and wondering if I have a problem, or it is set to start warning around 5000 miles.

That means you need to change your oil, its due there is no reset for that until you change the oil. It gives you a warning first saying oil maintence required soon, then when it reaches the mileage it says oil matinence required.
If the oil was just replaced and your getting this message, did you replace the oil before the service light came on or did you go when it was on and its been on. Most likely they forgot to reset it.

The first 1000 mile is not an oil change unless you specifically tell your dealer to do so.
5000 miles is when the oil will need to be changed. That's why you're getting the warning now.
I just went through this 2 weeks ago when I hit ~4700miles and went into the dealer for the 5000 mile service.
The frist 1000 and 5000 mile service is free. Get it done!
