I've noticed that an in laws 07 ES350 hid headlights are so much whiter and brighter than my 06 GS300 hid lights. I know that their headlights have a much more noticible range of movement but am curious why they seem whiter brighter and far superior to mine.
Yeah I had the same issue when I got an ES loaner, I think someone said the way the bulb was positioned was different and the headlight was made differently as well, but yes they are brighter.
All I have seen so far is a lens change on the Gs. Am I correct? I miss my bi xenon's that were in my old Tl. That's all from that car though lol I also have 6k bulbs in right now and going to change back to factory. Will this help a tad bit?
I don't know what brand was put in my car before I'll search. I'm just going back to stock. I don't like the 6k color. Bugs the day lights out of me. Thanks though.
i've tried aftermarket hid bulbs and saw less light output... from what i've read online, 3rd companies tend to use less salts in the bulbs causing hotter running temperatures and dimmer lighting depending on the bulb as opposed to a genuine manufacturer (i.e phillips, ge and osram).
I would stay with an OEM branded light, to get the best output..
osram actually makes a 6000k bulb that actually puts out more light than a standard 4300k bulb. They are really pricey but they are pretty bright.
