i noticed that my headlight sucks when it rains. i can't see the lines on the floor. i know headlights aren't that good in the rain but my really suck it looks like i don't even have my headlight on. for example i tried switching my headlight on and off when its raining and i don't notice ne difference. i'm running piaa extreme white.. i'm thinking i should return my piaa and try silverstar and see how they work. i'm just wondering for the people without HID. what kind of bulb did you use? and is it good in the rain? i polished the headlights so there nice and clean. dirty headlight is not the problem. it might be dirty projector lens but the look clean.
i don't think it's a problem with your headlights. i think it's a problem of the road. when the road is wet, the whole surface of the road is somewhat reflective, which lessens the contrast between the line markers and asphalt. at least that's my take on it.
i've got stock HIDs on my GS and often times when it rains, it seems like my lights are not doing anything at all. so you know what i do when it's raining and it's hard to see? i slow down and try to be even more attentive. it's amazing how many people don't grasp that concept nowadays.

Just let off the gas and give a bit of space! Turn the fogs on if ya got em!
thanks for adding that point. to be honest, when i mentioned slowing down in the rain, i actually just drive the speed limit, unless it's the freeway, where it's a whole different world.
