It is rare the car has leaking oil in tranny. Sorry to hear. I hope can replace new tranny.

This is rare, well at least it's covered and at least it will feel like a brand new car again!

sound like the oil line burst of my Camry V6. The whole under side was full of oil and the trunk too. But that was engine oil.

That's good news man! Meanwhile, enjoy that ES I never had an ES as a loaner. For some reason they always give me an RX

Wow...pretty odd that this would happen. Awesome that they're replacing it versus repairing it.

leaking tranny, not good but at least you are getting a new tranny, just make sure it's not a rebuilt one. you are in good hands
Yea I asked why brand new why don't you guys rebuild it with a sarcasm and he was like its too much work Yea so its a brand new one.

Sorry this happened and great to know you will be fully taken care of.
Yea, but I guees good part is i am gonna be taken care of I am just scared because its a huge job and I dont want them messing up

This is rare, well at least it's covered and at least it will feel like a brand new car again!
Yes this is very rare, I can actually say I am the only one with it atleast on this forum, Not sure how new it will feel as I had no complains about the tranny it felt good as it did 2 years ago when i got it.

Thanks, Yea I asked the manager and the service adviser for an RX cause I am actually looking to get an SUV and I got a rude reply "Well give you whats available" They were acting like I was asking for an LFA . ES is not my type of a car, It sucks. It ate half a tank of gas in like 50 miles,Torque steer, every turn I take I feel like I am on the fishing boat . This actually makes me appreciate my GS even more

I had a transmission rebuilt once....never the same. You'll be much happier with the new transmission. Sorry this happened to you, hang in there.

I had the same on a car and agree. Knowing now I would fight a rebuild. I think the issue is you have no clue what that trans has been thru prior to the rebuild.

glad they are throwing in the brand new tranny for free. That can be a good or bad thing in terms of resale.

It can look bad for a future buyer if they was to know about, but the people who know me and know how I take care of my car will only be happy it has a brand new tranny

I got a call today saying my car was gonna be ready at 5pm. I wen't to pick it up, got the car. After that crappy es loaner i had it really made me realize how good and comfortable my car is. You guys will probably wonder how it is, its great i feel its smoother then the old one, but 60k miles vs 10 mile tranny there is definatly gonna be a difference. My service adviser also said they changed the neutral switch or something a long those lines and i asked why he said it didnt always shift from P to D not sure as that never has happend to me. He also did mention how lucky i was because the tranny alone cost them 3.5k. Not bad I am actuall really suprised i got my car so fast, gave it in on monday morning and picked it up thursday night.
