So I was driving to work last Friday (my birthday) and all of a sudden my sunroof "exploded" and glass went everywhere. My best guess is that a rock had just the perfect angle and deflected off the sunroof... Or maybe it was a tiny meteorite. I was driving about 65 mph down the highway and didn't see anything bounce off of the road in front of me. There were scratches along the roof and the top of the trunk. Either way, I was able to do an insurance claim and got the sunroof replaced, and roof, rear panels, and trunk deck painted. I also opted for gloss black paint instead of black vinyl for the roof. I'll post better pics after it gets out of the shop (10 days later).

Wow dude, that looks scary and could've been fatal, glad you're ok though. Is the paint they used from Lexus or aftermarket paint shop?how does it match the doors?

Rock hits roof? Look nice on black colour roof. I saw some cars had black roof such as white.
