Just overlay gloss black 3M or Avery vinyl on your roof. I believe it's around 48" x 48" or something like that. Measure it and buy some from the net. Shouldn't cost you more then $100.00. If you need it even more glossy, swing by a sign company and have them laminate your vinyl for an extra $2.50/approx. per square foot. It might help if you have a buddy assist during the install. Shouldn't take you more then an hour and you'll be proud that you did it yourself.

That looks good. I would do this if I had a white SC.

The silver one is the line im looking at doing. Just my colors will be lexus Graphit Gray Pearl with the back strip. Hope this has not been done yet. I have an awesome painter he is changing the color of the car, fitting my body kit and two tone paint. Just needed to see how the roof line looked without a body line to fallow. Thank you for the help YeA 2jz and tabaka.

Kinda hate to rehash an old thread but this seems to be a close to what I wanna ask without the pointless starting of a new thread. My question is slightly different though. Has anyone been able to black out the roof, as well as the A and C pillars and make them look right? I know that there's just a straight body flow from the roof down the C pillar to where it meets the trunk and quarter panel without a natural bend in the metal. And where A pillar flows down to the side mirrors and meets the hood at an odd angle. I'm sure it wouldn't look right but I've always liked the look of a "natural two tone" with a good tint. I've noticed where most people have only painted the middle of the roof black and left the sides the original color like the pics above. But If anyone's got a good pic, thanks in advance.

The reason it isn't done often is because in my opinion it just doesn't look good.

Here's a quick Photoshop I made to prove my point:

Thanks 97-SC300 and shawnlexus. This is pretty much what I was expecting. I just didn't know if anyone had done it before and made it look right. The body lines were just not meant to do that. Guess I was an s13 owner for too long. There's so many plans that I didn't get to go through with that car that I wanted to, and some of those just can't be carried over to my SC.
