why does everyone want to run 245/35s up front? you'll end up rubbing and overspec'd

i wouldnt use 245/35 tires. the correct size you would want to run up front is 245/30/20 and to match in the rears would be 295/25/20 ideally but a 285/25/20 would work.

not saying 245/35 would be incorrect to run, its just that its overspecd and if you plan on lowering would more than likely rub when you turn.

a 20x10.5 +29 is going to require a stretched tire, I would go ahead and run the 245/30 on the rear, you will still require fender work especially if your lowered. Im running a 10.5 +26 and I absolutely am shaved flat and running a 245/30 and barely clear my fender. your only going to 3mm less aggressive than my set up. I just ordered a set of Nankangs, they are inexpensive, and stretch well, and I have heard great things about them. Heres the link http://www.onlinetires.com/products/...i+95y+bsw.html

Really!! I know a guy riding on them and said they re good oh well with my track record they won t be around for long good or bad. I'm just tired of spending over $200 per tire when they only last 12-15k the biggest draw to the nankang was how well it stretches.

If you don t mind rubbing go ahead, I strongly recommend a 245 with that offset and unless your fenders are rolled/shaved your still going to rub. I have my fenders shaved flat on the inside cut with an air saw and the leftover lip grinded flat to the inside fender wall at the most aggressive point where the wheel it closest to rubbing and a 20x10.5 +26.5 (custom milled spacer) with a stretched 245 Vredestine (which has a very round sidewall) clears by 1-2 mm, my new wheels are 10.5 +26 and i have camber arms on hand cause im worried .5mm may cause me to rub its that close.
