my passenger side window switch only goes up in AUTO mode... if i just lightly pull up on the switch it wont go up until i pull harder to get it into auto mode

on the drivers side it works fine, i can use the drivers side controls and the passenger side window goes up in both settings

Sounds as if the switch is going out. I thought I read somewhere on CL that somebody recommended you take the switch out and clean the connections? Anyone agree?

Otherwise, I would say get a new passenger switch or take it in to Lexus if you are under warranty.

 

I would try to clean the switch before I dish out the $600 some odd dollars for a switch.
