Thanks for the update. I'm going to do the same. If i can get everyone to stop asking me whats wrong with my car and having to explain how its direct injection blah blah blah it would well be worth the investment. I might take take it a step further and apply some sound/vibration dampening material to the inside of the covers to see if that helps.

I love the hp and mpg, but the ticking is driving me insane.

I do notice a slight decrease in noise, but not much. I agree with Leonsup, its about 10-15%. So, if you're expecting a big decrease in noise, then this isl not what you're looking for. Overall, for $27, i think its worth the investment. It reduced the noise enough that i can barely hear the ticking noise inside my cabin. Here are some pics. Enjoy

same problem here. Dealer did nothing even though they could hear my "tractor" sound. Love the car but this roaring drives me nuts. I can hear it much worse while engine is cold and until it gets like half way toward the hot gauge. I drove same model '14 and could not hear it this bad.

Funny you should say this. I have a 2013 model and my friend has a 2014 model - same car, same engine the only difference is the year and he has F Sport and I dont. My pump sounds like a tractor whereas his does NOT.

I have a 2014 GS350, and the thing can sound like a damn tank. I was considering this car and an Audi A5 - guess I made the wrong choice!! Very disappointed!!!

When I Google search the part numbers I notice that the covers have some type of foam or rubber insulation on the inside vs the earlier pics with no insulation. There is a posting in Japanese, translated it reveals the sound is cut in 1/2. It was posted in 2013 so maybe it is an updated version of the covers. I am going to see if my dealer has them in stock. Insulation on the inside would make a big difference

Just a follow up. I bought the covers and installed them. Took about 10 minutes to figure out. You do have to disconnect the intake hose to get to the pump. Don't be afraid to bend the fuel line slightly to fit the cover halves over the pump. The covers have the same insulation as the engine cover.

With the pump cover on along with the engine cover and the hood closed I am happy to report that there IS an improvement! The metallic cycling/ticking noise from the pump is muffled now. Well worth the $33!! Our cars should have had these on straight out of the factory!

Where did you order them from? I tried buying last month and I had to get a refund. I ordered from another site and I am still waiting for the parts.

Got them from LexusPartsNow.com . I ordered then on 12/23/15 and they were shipped 1/11/2016. Expected a delay due to the Holidays. It could be delayed due to low stock since the IS250/350 owners are doing the same upgrade.

Default 2013 gs350

Does anyone know if these parts (12606-38010 and 12605-38010) will fit the 2013 GS350 to reduce ticking noise of the fuel pump?

Not sure if it will but I just got them in the mail today. I can take some up close pictures if you need to visually see if they fit ?

edited: Just got the parts, they are smaller than I thought. Same as the pictures above.

I called the dealer and they said my car dies not even have these covers available. The ones mentioned above are for ls460 up to year 2011, 8cylinder engines. If anyone knows equivalent for 2013 Gs 350, please let me know part ##. Thanks. U can also use my: mryvkovatgmaildotcom.

You are correct, they are for an LS but at the same time they fit IS, GS, and other lexus models.

Unfortunately you have a 2013 model so it probably won't fit. I received those two parts number and they indeed fit on my 07 GS350. I haven't installed them yet but it looks exactly like the pictures in post #43

Does anyone know which part number for a Gs460? Is it the same as the 350?

Also on mylparts there is a 12605 and 12606 with 38020 at the end and also both with the 38010 like mentioned above, maybe the ones with 20 at the end were revised with more insulation? There's no pics but they're both labeled as the same thing

12605-38010 and 12606-38010 are the right part numbers. Use LexusPartsNow.com for ordering. The part numbers ending with 38020 are not the correct part, even though they have the same "description." They are both engine sub-assembly covers, but are covers for a different part of the engine compartment.
