Your car is already pre-wired for XM. All you have to do is mount the XM receiver in your trunk, may have to cut the upper trunk liner, and all the wires you need are on the passenger side. Once you remove the carpet liner all is right there. If you have a hard time look over at the 2gen ISx50 DIY thread. Its the same exact process for your GS
what do you mean kit to accompany the receiver? you mean to mount the xm tuner to the car? there should be two kits you order, one is the xm tuner kit, and the other one is the fitting kit
it should all be there. I got mine from sewell also when I had the IS and they sent me everything. do you have the parts now?? All it is is the receiver and wire harness for the factory amp.
I am interested to buy the XM kit as well. However, do you have the instruction for a GS450h, is the installation different from a non hybrid GS due to the battery in the trunk? Want to make sure I can do it before i order.

Sewell's website provides a link to the install instructions. The install for the350/450h/460 is the same. The mounting point for the sat receiver is up next to the subwoofer and from reading the instructions, it looks very easy to install.
The other thing I noticed is on the options for the XM on Sewell, there are choices for the GS450 and Mark Levinson. I have both so did I receive the right one?
Ok. I had the wrong kit for the install. The wiring harness I got from the dealer looked a lot different and the kit had a direct antennae wire instead of the antennae that you would stick on your window.
