Does anyone know if the voice command on my gs only controls the nav, or can it also control the radio and phone commands?
I can seem to find anything but nav commands on my manuals, help!?
dont know, i never use my voice command button. get in, press it and just start talking. my buddys accord controls everything including the temp for the climate control.
As for controlling the phone, that will be up to your phone. I'm pretty sure you have to use your phones built in voice commands to dial out numbers etc... though, honestly, I have never tried it but it must work exactly the same as a bluetooth headset - which is what the car basically is to the phone.
Here is a link to a spreadsheet I made that has the Voice Commands from the documentation. I've also found that there are some undocumented commands such as "Sat" that work as well.
"Sat" changes the radio mode to Satellite radio bank 1.
The voice command functionality on the 2007 GS is useless because of very poor accuracy and very poor design of the interface. 2006 would be as bad or worse.

Thanks twylie!! this helped in my quest...I used the voice commands, but the 'lady' doesn't seem to understand most of my command. I think Lexus/Toyota's software is kinda crappy...

I believe there is a touch screen button somewhere for help that lists many if not all voice commands. My 06 has voice for Nav control, change audio input, some basic volume and climate commands etc. as noted in the list. I especially like it when I say "satellite radio 3" and the car responds "setting temperature to seventy three degrees".
