Hello, I have a question.
When I open the trunk (either with the remote or by the button), it literally opens and I have to lift up all the way from the beginning.
Is it supposed to be so?
I bought an used car and would like to know this.
I think trunks of the most cars opens up much more so that you don't have to lift the heave trunk door all the way up.

Yes, the behaviour is normal. It just pops the latch and you have to lift it open completely.

 

yea its typical. i hate having to opening it myself too but its no big deal.

our trunks are extremely heavy so it doesn't pop up like those cheap bmw /mb trunk =)

I don't think it's a problem usually but when I am holding a heavy stuff with both hands, it's kinda hard to open the trunk.

 

then time to trade it in for the LS =)
