3GS wheel thread
Newb here. I recently picked up a 2006 GS300 RWD. I'm pretty sure it's already on lowering springs when I bought it.
Sorry if this question has already been asked but I've browsed the crap out of this thread... what is the biggest wheel size you can go with out having to roll you fenders or experience rubbing when taking turns etc.
Based on what i've read thus far is it safe to say that I should go with 19's
19x9 front
19x10 rear
(I'm not trying to go VIP style, I just want that clean stock look, with custom wheels) I'm a realtor so I can't try to bling too much. I was thinking about going with LM reps or something along those lines. Also I may have a full load of client's in the car with me so I can't be rubbing while driving client's around town. LOL
Any help would be appreciated.

They guy that owned the car before me, had done some slight cosmetic mods to the car, so I had figured it was on rims at one point. . maybe the dealership put the stock springs back on it. Ice are you on aftermarket springs or stock springs?

20 x 10, 45 offset - rear. Tires are 285-25-20 but I prefer 275-30-20.
No rubbing at all with these specs. You can definitely go more aggressive but that means pulling, rolling, cutting the fenders and stretching the tires. My car is a daily driver and sometimes used for business so I need it to be smooth.
Looks like Auto Cotoure front lip. 10.5 would require both fender work as well as milling down some of the frame within the front of the wheel well. You would need to heat gun the plastic as well.
It's a well done application, though i'm wondering if he shaved the front and clipped a little - you can see some ripples in the fender/wheel well line...

Springs are Tanabe NF210.

Ice - thanks again for posting your specs. How does the ride feel overall compared to stock? Is it a bit rougher and jolty when going over bumps on the road etc? I've dropped several of my past vehicles and have always noticed a much rougher ride. None of my cars have been this big and heavy though.
If you use all-season tires you'll be fine.
