You can do it yourself, its not that difficult. There is a few threads on this forum, with pictures and directions on how to do this. The whole process should not take you more than an hour or two.
I've seen most of the threads online and they are pretty informative. Unfortunately, I'm going to be busy with family business these next few weekends, and I really don't have the time. Also, I don't trust myself messing with the car.
Where did you see 6500k from xenondepot? I only saw 6000k and 8000k, hence the reason why I am looking at Kaixen HID's in 6500, but their kit is $300 without a relay harness. I like the white purple look in 6500, as opposed to the white blue in 6000.
Can you show me where you found xenondepot's 6500k kit. Wouldn't mind saving $100 and getting a relay kit out of it.
Where in NJ are you? I would be interested in knowing of a good shop too although I do everything myself.....at least so far. You know,if you know of a good bodyshop, they can also install lights and/or fogs.
Wronglane: I'm in Bergen County, and I know a shop my friend has gone to for all of his customization needs, and I've also gotten work done there on my X5. I'm just interested in finding other reputable shops as well.
Try Action Tire on Rt.46 in Lodi. They are pretty good. They work on a ton of rappers and sports players cars. I think they call themselves Custom Lifestyles now. 973-473-2211. Good Luck

Whats up man? I live in Cranford NJ and I know a place in Roselle Park (Exit 137 off parkway) that does a lot of xenon kit work. He did my GS's fogs and a few of my friends cars. It is called Big A on Westfield Ave. in Roselle Park. His name is Ray and he knows his *****.
Good Luck.

This is directed to all Northern New Jersey owners...Do you know any reputable shop that can install my lights at a reasonable price?
I'm shooting for this weekend for the install, so hopefully I find someone legitimate.
I set up an install at Action Tire, (closer to me), for this Saturday. I've heard nothing but compliments about these guys, and they deal with high-end clientele (NFL/NBA players, hip/hop artists, etc), so I know they will do a legitimate job.
