I bought my plug and play kit from Prestigious Society (no wire cutting). Works perfectly. They also include color step by step instructions and photos.

You might want to contact Chung@prestigioussociety.com for more info.

I got one from PS too. I'm not sure if they are still handling it or not. Kit is also often available on ebay tho I didn't check today to see if there are any there.

The step by step color photos made it so much easier!
Do you know how much time to take out the head unit and the airbag in addition to the 5 minutes to plug the kit in?

Its well worth it... I downloaded some music videos and burnt them to DVDs and have them playing (for the passengers not me) while in motion.

But I think its a huge benefit of control the Navi while driving instead of pulling over to the side of the road and put the car in park to enter an address...I know its for safety and all but I heard on Acuras and Mercedes you can control your navi while driving...

a great usage for me is the phone. a lot of time people call me when i am driving. with the phone in my pocket, all i need to do is to hit the override so i can see the caller ID so i can decide if i want to pick it up or not

+1 on it definitely being worth it. likewise on not cutting wires. not that brave. Love the kit. the posted pics and instructions make it easy for anybody. in addition to whats been mention the kit also frees up the 'msg' feature on the fm input to see song/artist ala satellite radio.
