Headlight Bulb replacement price. Absurd!!!

I need my left headlight replaced. I went to the dealer and they said the charge for the light and the labor was over $2,000!!!

Of course I didn't pay that. Please let me know if anyone else has experienced this.

just buy them from our CL vendors for like 70 and install yourself

Seriously! I don't even know what I am doing and I switched out my HIDs to 6000k HIDs in about an hour.

Something is up with that quote for sure

are you talking about low beam headlight BULB or the HEADLIGHT? in subject line you said bulb, but in your post you said headlights. they aer VERY different.

if you asked for the BULB but dealership quoted you 2000, then i think the rep must be stupid. but if you asked him incorrect about the whole headlight? then yes, 2000 sounds about right

if you need to replace bulb, just pm our vendors, XD or cliffurd

$2000 light bulb. yeah. that's what you get for buying a GS.

everything will be overpriced. lugnuts are $100 each.

1-If its not working it should be covered under warranty

2-If its damaged for some other reason and it costs $2k to replace, just file an insurance claim

exactly. that must be the price of the headlight assembly with install not just the bulb. that eyeball technology is a little pricey.
