Thumbs up Tanabe Exhaust

Hey guys
I just got my Tanabe exhaust installed today and been driving around for a little bit today and I absolutely love it I encourage anyone out there want to do some work on your GS go get it. Now I am just have to look for an intake for it. Anyway, I thought I would shard a little bit of what I think of the Tanabe exhaust......

what do you think as far as droning. Do you hear it most of the trime or just when you are pushing the car. I am going to pick mine up tommorrow

Thumbs up

Personally, I think it is a great sound it is not too overly loud but at around 3000rpm I think it sounds the best, but since I still working on getting a intake so when I push it right now the sound mostly come from the motor, but overall I would rate this exhaust as an A.

I am going to pick mine up from a local dealership that carries them. I got a smoking deal, but I have to drive about 100 miles round trip. Do what you have to do

I am curious if the owners who have added the Tanabe exhaust have noticed a marginal performance boost? When I was tuning my G35 a few years ago, an Invidia exhaust offered an immediate HP improvement (the G35 VQ engine is known to have airflow restrictions). A new Crawford Plenum and then High-Flow Cats each banged the performance/acceleration/boost upward remarkably. What have you all noticed so far?

I'm not sure about the loudness issue either- one of the reasons I made such a drastic vehicle change (the G35 would ROAR during full open throttle) was to get to a super quiet, relaxing ride like the Lexus G.

Look up the vids for the Tanabe on the IS350. The sound is the exact same for the GS350.
