Default What is the most quiet exhaust in your opinion?

I want a little growl from my exhaust, but do not want something too loud or that drones while on freeway driving. I do have to drive clients in my car sometimes and absolutely do not want to seem like some little racer boy who watched fast and furious too much.

Anyway, I kinda like the sound that a G35 or 350z makes stock. Are there any exhaust kits similar for a is250?

From my youtube searching it seems like tanabe or greddy makes a exhaust that fits my taste so far.

What do you guys think?

I have Tanabe take it. I think Greddy exhaust is louder than Tanabe. Check the volume of both...

Hands down the tanabe is the quietest, but if you are using the car for professional purposes i wouldn't put an exhaust, even with a tanabe you might here a bit of a drone. have you tried first getting an intake? they make your car louder when you gun it.

stock exhaust? any aftermarket will make cabin noise louder no doubt. tanabe is probably the quietest of the bunch but you will get some drone at certain rpm. i think you should get intake which makes no noise unless you want it to.

hmmm i tend to buy a car for the overall reliability, style and functionability. Rather than just from the sound of the exhaust haha.

If i bought cars just for the sound, I would be driving a Shelby or a Charger. Those cars have the best sounding engine/exhaust, but they also would be in the shop every few months.

Note: A late model Porsche (flat 6 engine) sounds pretty cool in the cabin with stock exhaust system.

Fujitsubo is upwards of a grand in price though..but they're craftsmanship and exhaust tone is absolutely beautiful and perfect...I have the Tanabe and it's considered one of the quietest but DAMN is it annoying driving up hills with medium throttle...makes me wanna break a window.

BTW,
no matter what setting you get, you will never get the G35 or 350Z sound out of it
it's two different engines..

I know some people say that Tanabe sounds like G35, but it doesn't~!!!
I used to have G35, and I also had Tanabe on my IS at some point, and it never sound like G35
