I'm a big fan of blinkers on the mirrors I just love the look and I think it will be a nice mod on my '06...

I think blinkers on the fender is more visible than on the mirrors.

i think they will be more than $800 a pair. i recently had my side mirrors replaced on my 06 IS 350 because the auto-tilt function was not working right when i switched to reverse. i saw the warranty paper work to replace the two mirrors and they were around $750 EACH.. i was shocked first, then just glad that it was warranty repair.. keep in mind they don't even have integrated turn signals on my mirrors..

 

I have few weeks ago same problem my gs300 auto-tilt function was not working right when i switched to reverse.So get to dealer.They sad have to be replace,And this is special order.Nobody call me after 10 days,so did my self (call them).Of course they received new mirrors,but never called me..
Anyway.I left my car today there.I got IS250.Ride not even close to GS.Since today I'm even more love my ride

And now I get my car back.Fixed and washed.Made me uppset,because in couple years it is first time when car was in automatic carwash
I have friend in the city he's owner hand carwash.
So now I have to wax and polish again

So guys MIRROWS COST over 1300$ for 2006GS
2008 i believe even more,just because of turn signals.
I would like change.But 1300$ I can live without.

Wow... expensive side mirrors. I like the side mirror blinker but not willing to pay for the high $$... I could use it for a set of wheels.

 

I like the directionals in the mirrors...agreed...way to expensive. Think I'll be waiting for awhile to get those...like mesmasterac said...can buy alot more mods for my GS instead of the mirrors...namely the Xenon Depot 3k fogs and DRL bulbs:-)....

 

I used to like directionals on the mirrors. Now, I don't care either way. My right mirror stopped tilting down in reverse so the dealer ordered a new one. Before I could take it in, the right one starting tilting, but the left doesn't tilt all the way. Just about 1/2 way down. Whatever. That's nothing compared to the fact that a hack shop was supposed to repair MINOR damage done to my car. The job they did is so bad, I now have to try to find a shop to repair their damage. It appears the whole side of the car, front to back will have to be painted to try to get the car even close to what it should be.

 

I had those in the past on my merc and I never really got to enjoy them because they were completely invisible to the driver...

 

They must be quoting you guys retail on the invoice for warranty work because my left mirror stopped tilting down and i just got the whole piece replaced, color matched as well. My invoice said 300 for the left side. they didn't even write down the labor cost because it was under warranty anyways. Maybe it was a typo. now my left mirror is brand new and shiny while the rest of my car needs a wax.

Also I told them check it out passenger door noise and ML speaker in the door.

To lazy to look at it,just order right away.So Lexus just parts changer,nobody try to fix it?Wow.
Now I'm thinking,maybe somebody want to try upgrade mirrors (if they out of order) not '06 or '07 but straight to '08.They have to order anyway right.I'm stupid,I shoud try that.I don't mind pay extra,if they cost more.
What are you think about that?Possible?
