Default Folding side mirrors on RC-F?

Just got my RC-F last month.

Anyone know if RC-F has automatic folding side mirrors when locking/unlocking the car?

I have this feature on my LX570 and RX450H.

Thanks

i think it depends on the country you live in, and in the case of the U.A.S, possibly the state. i have it in the UK

Your RCFs over there has automatic folding mirrors? Is it extra or all RCFs have it?

Well, you know, the US is a bigger country, maybe Lexus figures we are less likely to rub up against stuff....

Apparently, folding/heated side view mirrors come as standard equipment on Canadian model.

If you're referring to the features listing on page 10, I think our mirrors here in the states are "Foldable" as well. You just have to do it manually... I think these are the same as the US ones. I think it would need to say "power-folding" to have what people are asking for. I wish mine had this too. Maybe at some point someone will get the parts listing for the JDM model and be able to perform a swap. I think they have it outside the NA market. Not sure why.

I am somewhat aggravated at Lexus for not making it possible to get auto folding side mirrors in the U.S. market. Feel the same about not having auto dimming headlights or more adjustments on the seats as an option. The German car companies make these things available. For example, Porsche charges $320 for power side solving mirrors on the Cayman. Not bad, considering this is for Porsche. It's less than the lighted door will emblems for the RC F.

Was anyone ever able to get the JDM parts and perform a swap? This is one thing that I wish the RCF had.
I would gladly pay for this as long as its not too outrageous.

This is also standard on the Australian-spec RCFs. Australian RCFs get these as standard, no choosing:
- Premium ML sound with Nav
- Folding mirrors but not heated
- Forward and rear parking sensors
- Rear parking camera
- TVD (carbon or no carbon, you can't get the torsen)

However, you can't get the tyre pressure monitor (TPMS), it's not even an option even if you shove dollars in the dealer's face. I find it seriously odd how they pick and choose what they want to include.

Odd indeed. I also don't get why some Lexus models offer the power folding mirrors but not the RCF. Mind-boggling for sure.

I was hoping someone has a solution - but doesn't look like it.
