Default How to program phone extension?

I never got reply to this question neither at CL or my dealership. I have phone numbers which I use frequently that require an extension to be entered. I tried so many different combinations with "pause" and "wait" options when programming the phone number, but nothing ever worked. I mean, I can enter the extension from the screen touch pad, but was anybody able to figure out how to program it to work automatically?

Most cell phones, well, new ones anyway, have that menu key under the screen (the one in the middle). Go into your cell phone's call directory, then enter the number as you normally would, without the extension. click that menu button and there should (I stress SHOULD) be an option like "insert pause", click that, then enter the ext. after the pause. hope that helped.

For the phone. But do it and transfer to your car and see if it works...

Sometimes you need multiple pauses.
