Default Bluetooth Phone # with a pause

Hello All,

I've been trying to input my work voicemail which has pauses in it to avoid having to input the password. I first noticed I could not transfer the number from my phone so I attempted to manually imput it.

When inputting the number, I noticed there was a button for "pause" and "wait." I so I inputted 555-555-5555pXXXX# (where XXXX is the password). However, when I tried calling the number, only the phone number was visible on the screen and the pause and password never kicked in.

Any ideas?

As far as I know, noone has ever gotten pauses to work properly without having to hit another button to "send" the numbers that come after the pause.

I emailed Lexus. They tried it and emailed me back that they agreed with me that pause does NOT work. They said they would send a note to the designers, so it doesn't sound like this will be fixed.

If you should be so lucky as to need a wait and a pause with the wait coming sometime earlier in the number before the pause, then pause will work. In all other cases, pause does not work. This is such a shame since I have a number that should be all done with a single push of the speed dial BUT it requires the use of a pause.
