Have you received any quotes? We just bought our GFM/Ash with ML and XM on Saturday. We contacted every dealer in CA and found only 6 in the state that had exactly what we wanted-4 of which were in Northern CA. Only 2 out of 6 had XM and the other one was in Southern CA. One dealer that didn't have what we wanted told us that only 8 GFM/Ash cars w/ML were built for the May/June period for the 11 state west coast region, so we grabbed it while we could. We were also told that the factory is shut down for July and next month they start building 08's which will show up at dealers in September. It's possible the pricing may be a bit better in Southern CA. What we found Last weekend in Northern CA is that $45,500 was as low as most of the dealers were willing to go for the car you are looking for. We bought ours which has a $51,763 sticker for right at 50K out the door. 2 of the other 3 dealers told me that was a great price and said "buy it if that's really the deal you are getting". You may be able to do a bit better toward the end of the month.

Friend of mine already bought a 07' Silver/Black GS350 RWD/NAV/ML/LUX, MSRP $51277, but got it OTD $51277....so selling price was about $48000. I guess its a fair deal considering this is in Houston, TX. eh?

As of last week, the money factor and residual for a GS350 for 3 years/15K miles per year was .00195 (if you pay the security deposit) or .00225 if you do not pay the sec deposit and the residual was 48%. I don't know how much they can mark up the buy rate, but I know that some will try to do that. Invoice deals are not all that hard to get depending where you are.

48% residual for 3 year lease? Isn't that really low for a luxury car?

Living in the NY/NJ area. I have a quote of 49,700 (out the door) for 07' GS 350 AWD with a MSRP of 52,166. Is this the best deal? I have countered with 51,900 for the car with the G-Spider 18' tire package. Do you think that would be a better deal for me? Also, anyone who has seen the Frost Glacier Mica and Obsidian colors on the GS, which one looks better? I haven't been able to see one and needed some advice. Thank you.

Default GS 350 Pricing!!

I went to the dealership today and offered $46,000 OTD for GS 350 with Nav/No ML. It seemed like they did not even want to talk to me!!!! Please advise what should be the reasonable price for the car, thanks. According to what I read from the previous post, it is a reasonable offer though.:uh

In CA, you should be able to get that car (if the MSRP is $48,997) for $43.8 + TTL.

keep trying. and bid several dealers against each other. call back and forth until you reach rock bottom.
go for 42650 + ttl. it's doable, perhaps more so toward the end of this month.

Wait til the end of the month. That's when you know who needs to hit quotas.

What part of CA are you from? I would think that might be a bit low, although they could have countered to see if you were serious. Try another dealer.

hi there,

ive been working w/ a few dealers here in ca up north and down south and i noticed that the ones down south are more negotiable. one of the dealers was willing to do a '07 gs350 nav/ml xm for invoice. i kinda want the ml but i know for sure i dont want the xm.

another dealer who could find the color i wanted w/ nav and no ml. and i think this would be under invoice. is there a big difference w/ the ml? i have the ml on my sc430 but never heard just the plain. what do u guys think as a resale a few years down the line. do u think the park assist and the ml is going to make a difference.?

thanks so much. this forum has been so helpful.

Yep-That's under invoice. I went back and forth between 4 dealers and was able to buy one for just over invoice. That was like pulling teeth and 3 out of the 4 dealers backed out on the way down to that price at various points in the negotiations. Maybe they would be more flexible at the end of the month, but they had the color and options we wanted and the unit availability is starting to dry up. What I found out last weekend was invoice information that you get off KBB or Edmunds does not include the regional advertising fee of $522 that every dealer I talked to adds to the base invoice to come up with their invoice price. None of them were willing to give that up.
