Default 2007 Gs350 Prices

Its been 1 week since the GS350 has been out. Has anyone purchased the car yet?

Here are some prices I've gotten from a couple of dealerships in So. Cal.

$45,987 with Navigation, no ML
$43,973 with out Navigation & ML.

What's the best price you've got for a 07 with NAV.

Haven't seen any real world prices yet, but this much off sticker would be a surprise given conventional wisdom that price would stay pretty close to sticker for the first month after release.

Yes, I was quoted no better than "maybe $1,000" off MSRP of $51,277 for one with all options available right now - Nav, ML, and parking assist, but not including Lexus Link or the pre-collision system (which apparently aren't even available anywhere yet on the default "full spec" cars).

yeah, that's a pretty good deal for something that just came out. if you can get the color that you want, then i would go for it.

Fuji, I think that price is a steal for a model that just dropped. Get it, post pics once you've got your baby!

I've been thinking about this for a while, but do you guys think that maybe our perspectives are a bit skewed? I mean, yes, the GS350 is a new model in the sense that the engine is new, but to most people that walk into a Lexus dealership, they will not know or appreciate the difference. Do you think that the dealers didn't deal when the RX350 replaced the RX330, for example? Isn't that really the same thing? I can understand dealers being stingy with the ES350 or the upcoming LS460. Those are completely new redesigned cars. But the GS350 is simply the same 3GS with an upgraded engine.

I completely agree w/ you e-man. For the most part, only those who visit these internet forums care about or waited for the GS350. Most of the general public don't really think it's a new model and, frankly, it isn't. Same exterior and interior for the most part with an engine upgrade only those of us on the fringe would really care about. I also doubt if the general public would know or even be willing to pay the difference btw Gen 4 and 5 nav.

Furthermore, judging the by the amt of traffic on the 3rd gen GS forum, it just isn't all that popular of a car.

Thus, with all of these things in mind, it's not surprising that Fujifuzz is being quoted about $3K off MSRP. Wait until the slowest car buying period - December and I'm sure you could get a GS350 for invoice.

The mid-size sedan market is very competitive. Buyers have a bunch of options around the $45K range: the BMW 530, Mercedes E350, Audi A6. And the Acura RL is selling at a steep discount for about $40K to 42K.

525i is. And it sells almost as well as the 530i.
