IPOD Integration
Just like everybody else, frustrated that Lexus did not include the Aux In for the 06 GS like they did for the 06 IS. Does anybody have a good recommendation for IPOD integration? Has anyone added an mini plug in or aux in themselves or at a local audio shop? Results? and How much?

They will be coming out with something in the next few weeks and in Dec come out with XM radio and IPOD(with charging plug) and steering wheel functions. In the next few weeks the unit will at least work with XM or IPOD but not both - the software update (not free from what they told me - but nominal) will make it both work. It will be triggered through the DISC button.
Thats all I know for now. I am waiting as well. Lexus didn't feel that GS owners would use IPOD? They also didn't think we needed a GOOD DOME LIGHT as well!

iPod Interface

It looks like it offers pretty much the same functionality as the Vaistech unit, and they are available right now. Best Buy and Al & Ed's both carry them (well, special order anyhow).

I actually looked into this company and product before buying from Vaistech. They look to have a decent system - no better than what I bought except for the fact that it is not available for GS models. At least not '98 - '02.
