This is not in anyway about the moisture in the headlamps, at least to me it isn't; but if you look at the last generation of GS' (actually many Lexes have had this problem) you will know that they've all had this same exact problem (for some reason all in the drivers side headlamp). You'd think they woulda caught that issue by now.

Every one knows that when that when water somes inside the headlight then you have a case when hot and cold air come together and they form water on the indside of the headlight. You guys are so f**k*ng lame. Get a life othe rhtan besides worrying about this pitty B Sh*t.
Exactly. If it used to be a problem for 2gen GS then Lexus would have fixed it a long time ago. Just ask you dealer, I'm sure they can explain this condensation matter it to You. It's really lame to start complaining about it before consulting with your dealer.

wow a lot of tension in this forum....seriously stop it guys...get back on the topic of the issues... people have their say....maybe good or bad...as long it doesnt often any1 then it is their say....but yeah i say take it back to the dealer it shouldn't happen yet....i know it can be a fixable problem with a little heat gun or hair drayer or just turning on the headlights , but consdering the car is BRAND spanking NEW...yes take it back to the dealer and let them fix it., just my 2cents on it

Its a sealed unit; where the bulb plugs into the lens is rubberized to keep dirt and moisture out, so we don't need a science lesson on how to REMOVE it, the question is how and why does it get in there to begin with!! Its not like this is common on every car, but we just like to complain anyway. But thanks for schooling us newbie, now we can all breathe a little easier.
Series 1 had/has same problem. To this day I find moisture in the headlights (11 years). The lock/unlock button on one of my keys doesn't work and I have to use it manually; now that's a problem
That's why I need to upgrade to Gen 3.

It dosent matter if it is a sealed unit or not thats just common sense When hot and cold air comes together then it forms water on the inside of the headlight. It dosent take a rocket scientist to know that. With yo educated self....

Just take the car to the dealer and let them check it out... it is pretty minor problem, even if it is more than just an normal moisture in the headlights...
In fact, 50k cars usually brake a lot more than 15k cars and Corolla is indefinetly more reliable than an 5 series or E class.... So maybe thats something to consider for your next purchase?

A lot of heat from the headlight + the outside temperature, can cause the headlight seal to soften on the 2nd GS and the moisture can get in( without ventilation). So, the moisture is trapped inside the housing.
We were joking about the headlight defroster at one of the Lexus's meeting, but the engineer said the headlight itself is the defroster( heat ). But the moisture has nowhere to go. We'll see.

Nobody should have to make excuses for an 06 GS. And obviously it's not a defective part, but a defective design.
Luxus needs to get their sh#t together on the light issue- UNACCEPTABLE
Fortunately for me, altough many RX330 owners have condensation in the headlights, I do not. The only Lexus that I have a little condensation at times is my SC400. Nobody can really say this is 100% acceptable. Sure there could be larger problems to worry about, but why is it normal in a Lexus when other cars don't have this problem? I'm not attempting to make this an Acura vs Lexus thing, but none of my Acuras that used plastic headllights ever had condensation. A few peope I know did have problems, but it was fixed and don't have problems anymore. Condensation in the headlights can lead to problems down the road. When I took apart one of my older SC400 headlights that had condensation in it, the metal projector housing was all corroded as well as the screws rusted. Imagine the potential problem with the xenon auto leveling system and bi-xenon in some cases if condensation causes corrosion of the components. This is the type of problem that shows itself after the 4 year 40K mile warrany has expired. I'm not saying it will cause problems, but I'd hate to have my auto leveling system fail because of corrosion after I'm out of warranty.
this has been a problem on several few cars lately, including mine. There were some owners who had the same problem on 04 Acura TSXs. so yeah not to worry theyll probably fix it sooner or later.
(don't hate on me cuz i have an acura!)

same problem with my buddies MB...
Somebody came up with the idea of using silica packs to absorb the moisture, not sure how well that would work...you might burn up the pack and have melted silica to deal with

People will start hoping impossilbe things - like 100% flawless car without any minor problems. Maybe you guys are not accustomed to Audis, BMW's and Mercs. With those cars you have problems all the time, a small thing like condentsation in healights seems like nothing to a Mercedes owner who has to sit in the service and wait for serious electrical/mechanical problems to be fixed.
