Is this going to be my first warrenty item?

Frebay and Carminesc have you seen this in yours yet?

Thanks
Definitely check in for warranty issue. You need to clear bra your car and fast! The 91 Freeway is a sandstorm everytime I drive it.

flipside909-Your so right. Whats your experience with those things. I saw they have it in the assc. brochure for the 06 GS. Are they any good. Does it look funny on a black car?

Luckly the car is for my with. Local school, market, and mall driver. I have a truck I put 48k on a year.

Hope all is well.

I love clear bras. I will never do without them again. Both Lexus' in our garage have a full wrap of the front end and partial of the hood. It's a worthy investment in my opinion. If you need a recommendation for an installer/dealer, just shoot me a PM.

Take it back for new headlights! I got 2 brand new ones for my RX!! (I am shocked that this happened to a brand-spankin'-new ride)...

to Lexus.

Yes, with all the people that had taken their headlights back on the Second Gen GS' I would've though that Lexus will fix their headlight condensation problem. This is very unacceptable to me, if I had just purchased a 50k car, I would be expecting quality and perfection within the first 6 months at LEAST. Just take it back and have them replace it, also have them make sure it wont happen again. This is out of your own time. I repeat, tell them you're a busy person and make sure they dont let it happen again.

Default Having Second Thoughts

I also agree. A 50K car should not be having this problem. I have never owned a Lexus but this is making me having second thoughts, I know its such a small thing but I guess I am very picky. Has anyone talked to the dealership and received any input. Lexus should recall all their new GSs and fix their problem. I'm sorry, but a condensed headlight does take away a little of the aesthetics of a car.

Default Issue Noted

I noticed this issue during my first visit to Lexus Mission Viejo and my test drive.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=151026

That same day I saw YL06's rig on the lot. I didn't look closely at his headlamps, but did notice the moisture in the rig GS430 I test drove that day-

Definately not a good omen.

This might be a really dumb suggestion but if you take a hairdryer to it and hold against the spot, it looks like it will actually go away. I see that the bigger part of the condensation is already gone right around where the point of your HIDs would be, which means that whatever is left in your last picture is just not getting enough heat.

It's a really dumb thing to be happening to a Lexus I know, but there really is no such thing as perfect.

Funny. Lexus has spoiled You. You have to remember that car like Lexus has thousands of mechanical and electrical parts that all have to work properly 24/7. Something that small happens and now everybody is crying. Sometimes I think it is bad that Lexus has built up reputation that it has now. People will start hoping impossilbe things - like 100% flawless car without any minor problems. Maybe you guys are not accustomed to Audis, BMW's and Mercs. With those cars you have problems all the time, a small thing like condentsation in healights seems like nothing to a Mercedes owner who has to sit in the service and wait for serious electrical/mechanical problems to be fixed.

For example: http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum...oto=nextnewest
In our country lot of people burned their clothes with those faulty seats and you guys are worring about headlight condensation!!! Just go to you local service and Im sure they can find you a good and simple soulution how to fix the condensation.

I seriously think it is unnessecary for you to come to our boards and insult us like this. I guess you could be complaining about your faulty seats causing people to catch on fire (that is just bad engineering) but if a top ranked auto company like Toyota/Lexus could not take the time to make sure their headlights aren't sealed properly, that is very unacceptable for the price being paid for a $50k car.

This is not in anyway about the moisture in the headlamps, at least to me it isn't; but if you look at the last generation of GS' (actually many Lexes have had this problem) you will know that they've all had this same exact problem (for some reason all in the drivers side headlamp). You'd think they woulda caught that issue by now.

I agree wih xotic sc. This is a shocking discovery to knwo that the exact same problem that was in the gen 2 is now in the gen 3 as well. This should have been fixed by now. Kinda dsiapointed lexus let it carry over or didnt spend much time in R and D tryign to perfect the condensation issue.

Overall, if u spend 50K for a car, thats a sh it load of money to put for a CAR. and to knwo you are having a problem like this AND for a brand new car that hasnt even been out for 2 weeks yet, hmmm - not a good start for lexus.
