Thanks sicklex, as always keeping the forum organized and easier to keep up with.

I must say, after driving my 430 for a couple of months now, I haven't noticed any condenstation problems. I keep the car in the garage as it is, but even when occasionally left out, I haven't noticed.

I will keep an eye on things. I had forgotten about this thread.

Default HID Assemble condensation

I just bought a new 2006 GS 430 and noted the condensation inside the clear plastic lense. The dealer said there was a tech bulletin out, identifying the Lexus supplier issue and identified a new type headlight assembly. The dealer replaced both under warranty

You should replace, as the condensation will cause corrosion and failure of the HID electronics (very high voltage)

Took to Dealer this week. Told some have a pinch is the vent tube to check. Noticed on the R.O. that they removed the sponge on each side. Not sure if this is right or not, but that was Lexus M.V. fix at this time.

Talked to the Sales Manager and he had mentioned there are new headlights available because of the problem. When I find out more I will post info.
