Default Battery cut off switch

I have a 2000 gs400 which I will be parking outside over the summer, unused. Should I a). Remove the battery. b) install a cutoff switch on the negative post. c) do nothing and hope it doesn’t fry or drain. Tia

I would throw the battery on a trickle charger while it's out of the car. That way you don't have to worry about it draining and dying. Even if it gets low you can take it to an auto parts store and get it charged. But I'd definitely remove it from the car, the worst thing is reprogramming some things haha.

Thx. It won’t be parked where a charger is an option. I found a guy who’s going to start it up and drive around the block every 2 weeks.

You'll want to have them drive it around for 15 minutes each time. Otherwise it'll die.

I just disconnect my battery for long times and have never had an issue.
