Help with tow bar
Hi - you didn't mention the year of your GS300, but check out: ETrailer.com
Depending on how far you're looking to tow the Caravan, using your GS300 might not be the best option. Renting a truck and trailer from U Haul would be the infinitely safer option.
That said, you'll need a hitch for your GS and a tow bar that hooks to the front of the Dodge, along with some universal tail and brake lights.
Hitch Size: 1-1/4 Inch Hitch Opening
Towing Capacity: 250 Pound Tongue Weight / 2500 Pound Towing Trailer
Wiring: 2000 Lexus GS 300 Trailer Wiring
Universal Tow Bar:

Hope this helps...

I doubt they're referring to the Chrysler minivan. Caravan is what they call a camper trailer in Europe. And just to be clear, you definitely should not attempt to tow another vehicle with a GS300.
Then I would like to amend my reply to include... the hitch I linked should work fine, as long as the trailer is under 2500 lbs - total.
Hitches/tow bars for the 2GS mount to the same bolt holes as the muffler hangers, in the rear "frame rails", the same structure the bumper mounts to. There's no welding involved.
I don't know where in Falmouth (Cornwall? Jamaica? Maine? Tasmania? Massachusetts?) one goes to get one installed, that's location specific.

Vehicles that have a tow package also include an extra cooling function for the transmission fluid. This is not a big deal for short hauls, but any significant travel with a load and stock cooling could destroy your transmission.
"While some vehicles can get by without adding an external transmission cooler, most will need it. If your vehicle is designed to be able to tow, odds are there already is an external transmission cooler in conjunction to the stock unit. Most vehicles utilize a transmission cooler inside the radiator, and more heavy duty vehicles will supplement with an external cooler in front of the radiator and air conditioning condenser."
