Nicely done! It has been added to the 2GS FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) and DIY Thread.

Funny, I was looking at the clock the other day and the light caught it a certain way. I could see there was a blank spot to the right of it. People could also use this for their air intake temp sensor, or an Air-Fuel-Ratio display if you dont have space or like me and dont like aftermarket gauge pods.

Nice work

Tidy, I like it.

I like the idea of putting an AFR display there especially.

Sorry for ask. Where you bye or found that clock? This is something that I thinking for long time to do it, but I never found spot to do it. But,definitively this is the best spot and original way to do it. Clean and excellent work.

There are other options for sure, you just need to find the right size.

I did this back in April of 2016, someone was asking about it in the group recently so thought I'll post it on here too for easier reference

Excellent write-up.
Just finished mine.
Voltage meter cost 1 euro including shipping from ebay.

Thanks and Cheers,
Johan

I started doing this mod, and want to confirm a few things before I do something stupid.

Did you separate the very front dark/clear plastic from the frame, and then cut an opening in the frame for the voltmeter? Did you drill out the six glued attach points first?

And how did you mount the voltmeter to the housing? Glue?
