You might get it to feel a little bit better, but nothing huge you can measure in 0-60 or 1/4 mile times
I'm actually a good example here. I have thousands into my car with naturally aspirated mods, and I've done all below:
Good headers are $750, if you can even find the PPE. The OBX copies are around $400. Then add install time if you do them yourself (PIA ask how I know) or install cost. Only 15 rear wheel horse here. An intake ($200-300), exhaust ($150-700) and AFR tuner ($200-400) will get you maybe another additional 15rwhp.
Supra 3.769 LSD differential ($900) will put a little more torque to the ground but lower top speed to from 150mph to 135mph and really eat gas. I want to put the stock 3.23 gear back inside the LSD housing.
Transmission. I tored my valve body out to make my own toyomoto style shift kit with rods and a different spring. ($150-350 depending)
3000 RPM stall (still trying to figure if I like this thing in higher speeds) will be $450-900 depending on which you get and labor, etc.
With all above and sticky tires ($900 michelin pilot super sports) I'm still at 0-60mph in 5.1 seconds (stock is 6ish) and 1/4 mile in ~13.5 seconds (stock is 14.1ish)
Not very impressive honestly. Race some 350zs or newer 370s, Camaro, Altimas, Camrys, ES350 V6s or anything semi-light with the 300+ horse V6 and you'll see what I mean
Nitrous Oxide would improve the numbers, but I'm not for it on this car.
I'm going forced induction (around $3000 the way I'm doing it) and I'll finally be in the 4.5 second 0-60mph range and 12 second 1/4 mile where the car would start to be somewhat relevant in racing again

What was your trap speed and 60ft on the 13.5 sec run?

Never raced a 370z for anything measurable. But they do 13.3 to 13.6 second 1/4 miles bone stock. Some people get them into the high 12s with simple mods. Most light cars with V6 come close to this. When you race them, it's almost annoying they can keep up with these V8s.
Another thing, I like the highway test. That is, when I'm going about 65 mph, I like to "clock" a car flying by me that is maybe going 85 to 90 mph. Floor the gas and see how long it takes to catch up. Not very impressed with the GS's performance here either. With the procharger I'm reaching for getting to that 100mph a second or two faster than what it would take to get to 90mph. Not a huge difference, but boy can you feel it and see it when racing.
I didn't get a 60ft, as I did unofficial testing honestly. I think trap speed was somewhere around 101-102mph it might have been more towards 13.7 seconds range.

After all the money spent making the car faster and then making sure it doesn't blow up... You may as well get something designed to go that fast to begin with.
I'll be dropping an CD009 manual trans in my GS400, but that'll be the extent of the mods. I plan to get an IS-F for the all-out-speed need.
