Default Timing belt kit question

I was wondering has any one purchased this kit off ebay? The seller has good feedback and offers a warranty I was thinking about purchasing it. Anyone have any suggestion or feedback about this

Pretty standard "cheap" kit, just make sure you address the vvti cam seal also and it'll last you fine.

What about the kit is cheap? Meaning are there are partsof it you would use and parts you would not use? I mean looked to have some parts from the companies that you all have discussed on here. I just don't want to put this stuff in and a water pump lock up and there goes the engine

He offer you 2 year warranty on parts. Toyota / Lexus offer 1 year. Search a little by more about the part and feedback.

I'm waiting on an aisin t-belt water pump kit. Well worn path, from what I've gathered from my Indy and read from others experience Aisin kit is legit. Went ahead and ordered a denso rad, an OEM thermostat and picket up some pink coolant from local Toyota dealer here in town like $17/gallon. Rockauto and partsgeek have the t-belt water pump kits for dirt cheap, shipping isn't much. EBay sellers with stuff like that scare me even with a 2 year warrantee, positive feedback, etc

Spend a few extra bones and get the kit that has the OEM water pump (Aisin). These are the parts you don’t want to go cheap on. You will not need to replace these parts for another 90K, so to save $100 on cheaper non OEM parts is silly. This is the heart beat of the vehicle.

Look at it this way. Let's say it take 6 years (72 months) to reach another 90K miles. $100 savings on cheaper non OEM parts divided by 72 months = .72 cents each month. The savings is minimal actually vs the type of work it takes to replace this if it goes bad.

Try rockauto or keep searching ebay for better quality parts.
