Default Hello all

First,

I just want to say hello to everyone, being that I'm the new kid in town.

Second,
I want to take time to introduce my self and the Lexus I am currently working on.

My name is Tony, but known as Nastyboy in the show circuits and most online forums. I own 4myride.com and have partnered with a local SoCal bodyshop, Fix-up, in Los Angeles, CA. Together we are building a Lexus GS300 (please see below).

I've been building and modifying cars for a bit over 10yrs. I personally took care of the engine bay of the Lexus, and Fix-Up will do the custom suspension work.

The bodyshop is responsible for all the custom bodywork.

The GS has received the following:
Extended Aristo Bodykit
Custom made and molded flares
Molded side skirts
Shaved rocker panels (the lower plastic parts on the doors)
Extended hood
Custom made front grill
Full Kameleon paint job
One-off Injen Short ram (thanks to Paul@Injen)
Kameleon matched engine accesories
Chrome/polished engine components
Red Silicone & Split loom hosing
Custom made mirrors for hood

Future plans:
Full Hydraulic Suspension
Full In Car Entertainment system (I.C.E)
New interior
Interior accents
Custom trunk display of both sound system and suspension

Here are some pictures:

And look closely at this one...
It's our Lexus!!!

Once again, just wanted to introduce myself and the Lexus.

-Nasty

Hi Tony, welcome to the club!

I like the fender flares. The bodykit is alittle too wild for me though. Throw some 20's on that bad boy and it'll look sweet. No chrome please.

Keep up the good work.

Welcome to the club bro!!

You definitely need bigger wheels! Look at the fender gap.......................

Car looks awesome - the bodykit is a bit over the board for my tastes, but hey, each to his own!!!

You will defnitely enjoy your stay on this board!

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

Yeah, I know about the rims . Unfortunately we got them, 18" 5Zigen F15, on a temporary basis. The car was just finished in time for the HIN event on 02/15/03, and those were the first set of rims we got in.

I was thinking of maybe going with some 19's or 20's. What kill the rims even more is the fender flares, the rims look way smaller with them, as to compared to a GS w/out flares.

Also, I will be more than glad to take pics in the sun for you guys to get the full effect of the Kameleon paint scheme. As posted earlier, if you follow the link to the carandmodel.com website, you'll notice that they used our car for the main picture for HIN 02/15/03. The picture they used is the front of the car with the hood opened, showing all the chrome and color matching done to the engine. Not to mention the prototype Injen Short Ram, thanks to Paul at Injen.

Anyway, don't want to bore you guys, specially since I'm still new to your site .

Again, thanks for the warm welcome!

-Tony

Hey Tony,

do you any more pictures that show the custom-made mirrors for the hood?

Whats up nastyboy... Nice GS300 BTW... I've gotten the chance to see this car in person.. the body work is clean and the paintjob matches up pretty well... I really like the fender flares!

I am the owner of the Black GS400 that was with u in line at roll-in for HIN Del Mar... I was parked in front of you while we were both waiting for HIN to find spots for both of us. =X

Welcome to ClubLexus... make yourself at home...

regards,
John

I'll be more than glad to post more pics, which you guys have requested. Pics of the car out in the sun, and pics about the mirrors used in the engine bay.

However, I do wish to warn you guys, I do tend to take a bit in updating or uploading pics. So please, don't think I forgot or ignored your requests

JL4785;
Again, thanks for the welcome. Yeah, I remember your car at HIN. I went in front of you, but then they pulled your car infront of me while we waited outside. For a minute there, I thought they were going to place us together, which would of been cool, no?

Anyway, what other shows are you hitting this season? I didn't register in time for IX at the L.A. Convetinon Center this Saturday, but will be back at IR at Anaheim and hopefully Battle of the Imports up north. Maybe we can roll in together next time you hit a show? I'm easy to get a long with

Once again, thank you everyone for the warm welcome.

P.S.
I'll be at California Speedway in Fontana CA this Sunday, if anyone else wants to meet up, or say hello.

yea, they were going to place us together... I overheard him saying to, but there wasn't any room... its all good.. maybe next time... would of been nice to put 2 different styles of GS300/400 together tho... mines a bit on the JDM side for some strange reason =X that would of been cool IMO...

I live in the Bay Area, but I grew up in San Diego.. I usually try to hit up the shows in my hometown.. but right now the car is undergoing major surgery.. not as major as yours, but finally grafting on the new bodykit =) I will have the car out of commission for awhile now... Probably do Import Auto Salon. Maybe... who knows... depends on my rim situation... we shall see... when everything is finally in place.. I will probably hit every major show I can on the west coast.. including the north west... mainly cali of course! All Bay Area shows are a given. next time.. holla.. Id like to check out your fender flares! they fit your kit very well.. that caught my eye...

Take it easy...

regards,
John

Thanks.

The reason the fender flares fit the car well is because we cheated.

The flares were hand made for the car. That's why, if you pay close attention to the rear door, you will notice that eventhough the fender flare goes onto the door, it is still perfectly alinged.... regardless of the door having to be opened or not. The flares were also molded onto the body kit... once again following its natural curves.

The bodykit and car were all modified to be a "one off" . However, if you're interested in the flares, please don't hesistate to stop by the shop. We can have some made for your car.... maybe at the same time your bodykit is installed (if you're interested).
