Hmn, ruster rotors huh?
Anyway, the car is being built as a show car, and as such it has gained plenty of attention and is currently being sponsored by some of the top aftermarket manufactures. What this means is:
A. Manufactures like Injen Technologies don't know what they are talking about
B. Every car should be built to your specifications
C. Your car has the basics (wheels/exhaust) and wish you could afford to do more.
As for the wheels, please take the time to read the entier post, as this subject has be discussed.
I don't expect everyone to like or agree with the car or how its customized. Everyone is a critic, but the critics who are the most harsh are the people dont have much done to their cars. (kind'a like fat girls talking bad about good looking girls) Hmm.... the word "Hatin" should ring a bell by now.
Regardless, I still thank everyone at CL for the warm welcome. Critizim is always expected when someone does something different.
Damn those people who think outside of the box!!!

Dude....I'm sorry...the car is just nasty. I like being nice but I also like to tell the truth. I would not trade a stock GS for that car. Getting sponsorship is not too difficult to do. I've turned many down and got turned down just for the fact I didn't want my car to be plastered with stickers.
As for C above...lets just say i got more in my 6 car garage right now then you can imagine. As for affording to do more ...yeah...here are a couple of my monstrous creations that were created with my poor taste.....

As for A 6 CAR GARAGE , is this going to be a "my wallet is fatter than yours" thread, or is it a GS thread?
I admit, both blue and red GS' look good, but what's soo unique to call them "monstrous"? Maybe if I recieved $5.00 for every GS with the same bodykit as your "monsters" I too would brag about my 6 car garage. Hmm, and if I got another $5.00 for every GS that uses the same wheel type, I'll have enough to fill it with 6 GS'. Ahh, then there's the unique monster drop.... maybe I'll ask for $10.00, being that a GS has been droped like that before.
Now, about the trunk, I'm assuming that you did completely read the thread... including the first post where you saw my "ruster" rotors, so I can count that you answered your own question about "my trunk". If not, I'll be more than glad to remind you that "it's under construction". The trunk will be set up to display BOTH audio and suspension work.
All in all, your "poor" taste is not soo bad.... as I have seen it done plenty of times in every import at local shows. As for your "monsters", I have to give you credit, stock paint jobs with "one of a kind" bodykits trully reflect a person's taste.
But hey, I'll give you a couple more pictures so that you can critisize:
front
lights off
lights on
engine bay
I'm sure you'll find plenty of "ruster" parts on the engine bay, being that the car is a daily driver. And since its not a "monster creation", the engine tends to get dirty while the car is driven.
Honestly, we all have our likes and dislikes. In no way should you take my post as an attack but really just an opinion as I saw it. In reviewing your car... I would say it was smart to remove your Lexus badges because that's exactly what it is not. It is one thing to do something tastefully and be proud at the end, but completely another to do something half-***. The ruster rotor comment, for instance, is a perfect example of a half-*** job. If your going to put some aftermarket wheels on the car, minus the fender gap and clean up the rotors. Even if your not going to buy a new brake kit or cross drilled slotted rotors, just clean it up a little.
As for your front bumper.. too much mesh. Minus the mesh, and maybe that bumper has some potential. It sadly reminded me of a civic, but hey, if that's what you want, then ok? The side skirts... way too extreme and outlandish for me.
I enjoyed your paint job although I feel it has no place on a GS. The "Kameleon Paint", as it has become to be called, can be used effectively on almost no car unless ricey. Once again, just too much for a GS.
On the other hand, your interior looks pretty clean from what I can see.
for that., although I'm basing this on a blind shot in the dark.
I honestly just started mod'ing my car, seeing as I just got it, and am trying to keep it as clean as possible. I just think with all the money you seem to have spent, you probably could of got a nice WIN kit, cross drilled rotors, a real nice black or silver paint job, full cat back exhaust, and possibly some nice Tein CS or FS suspension.
Either way, it's your choice and not mine, So to each his own!

First of all I admire your ambition. You have invested a lot of work in your car.
Secondly you have rebuilt your car into something completely different from what Lexus is about. So if you post pictures here among Lexus owners you could expect some criticisms.
Here is a quote from Lexus European site that maybe helps you understand what I’m talking about.
“We believe that the old definitions of luxury no longer apply. 'Luxurious' has come to mean 'ostentatious' and that's not what we're about. Rather than 'if you've got it, flaunt it', we stand for a more contemporary interpretation of luxury in all that we do.”
But I'm sure that you are already aware of this, hence your name "nastyboy".

Thanks for posting some additional pics...i rest my case.
I agree with Captain Bone...removing the Lexus badges was the best modification you could have done. I would now suggested a a couple of Powered by Vtec stickers or Type-R. That would trend real well with the rest of the car.
As for the engine bay picture....**** ***** ***** **** ** ******* **** *****-****!
Overall Nastyboy, I do have to agree with you...beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Good luck with the car. As long as you are happy with it, then what i or anyone else say is not relevant.
You should hook up with NYWIZARD....you guys are starting a trend!

goooo GS4fun, fry that ryce !
so what if his paint is stock/damn near stock who cares? it looks damn good. not about how many others have the same paintjob, its what pleases the eyes. your car gives me a headache. however, i do admire your artistic capacities and ambition. also, you claim that the car is a showcar. i find that this is interesting when in your given photos, the enginebay is encrusted with dirt. Showcars are supposed to be immaculate, correct?
btw. stop taking pictures at night. got something to hide?
Injen is an inferior company when compared to the other brands, such as SRT, that come out with parts for the Lexus GS. So technically compared to SRT yeah injen does not have a clue.
