Hello all
You guys are too funny.
Man, I don't know where to begin. Hmm, first you guys start off with how "well educated" and good taste you guys have, but then a couple other of you show off your education by using the "proper grammar" to show it. Hmm, for someone who's screen name is "norice", you guys sure do sound like it.
Are you guys "refined" like your cars, or are you just "pimp"?:
see this is how ya do it guys, if you really wanna show how you can ball, get a big house to go with the big cars.
Anyway, as I posted earlier, I am not afraid of drivin the car, hence the pictures were taken by someone else (not me) outside of a pizza place. Just like another member pointed out, pics of this car seem to be popping up on different websites. Sometimes people send me links, and sometimes I don't know about them. The "clean engine" pic that was posted was from a Overboost.com, taken at a show. I sure would hope you guys would take the time to clean and prep the car if you are going to show it at a competition. If you guys follow the link to the Carandmodel.com website, you will also see a "clean" pic of the engine bay. The pic is soo clean, and the car was such a crowd pleaser that the car was used as the main picture for the HIN show at Del Mar this past Feb.
So no, there's nothing to hide at night time. What, you guys think that if I take pictures of the car during the day, some stickers are going to magically appear?
As for the european comment, I'm sure that I don't need to remind you that this is a Japanese car, with Japanese touring in mind... different from what goes into European vehicles, but then again you guys know this.
All in all, if your bottom line is "to each his own", why do you guys spend soo much time on the subject? Honestly, if you guys are so "refind" how is it that you are knowledgeable as to what is considered rice or not? Hmm, what prestigious schools had a class on Imports101.
Look, if the main point is that most of you are too scared to think outside the norm, chose to follow the trend, than to create something original (despite criticism), then that's your poragative. Many products (not just car related) were created when someone decided to think differently. Eventually, wether you guys admit it or not, you will see more cars with this bodykit and style of paint, not necessarily same color.
Lastly, how do you guys consider one product superior to another? Who has the dyno results from other intakes to compare them to Injen Dyno results? Or is it superior "just because everyone else bought it?"
Point of story... you guys like the car, thanks.... you guys don't like it, look the other way. Eventually you'll see more of it, I guarantee it. Maybe the whole world will be wrong about the car and will need the "elite" few of you to set the record straight.

This is a show car and you have to do anything unique to win and get points in competition. Its very brave to drive around in a chameleon car that has a shade of pink in it. i give this show car a 8/10 only because of the rims and ride height.
in no way can i see the resemblence of this guy and NYwiz. rememeber NYwiz even photoshopped a pic of him and J.Lo. lol. come on get off his case. if you don't like it then just say it nicely and get on with it. no need to "look cool" and bash.
This is how you all welcome a person........
Most wont even post a picture of your car or cars. Im glad i didnt post mine when I first came to CL. LOL
Lock this thread it will just keep going on and on.
for all those that kept thier cool and didnt post I thank you.

you dont make sense......i sure do sound like what? if youre talking about well educated then i am quite well educated.....not yet comparable to some of the other guys on this forum....but well for a sophomore in highschool. 30th best AP school in nation out of 20,000 and im enrolled in several AP classes. if all goes well i will graduate 1-2 years ahead of others in college. GPA of 4.2 as a sophomore.
haha thats right guys im 16.
so you can stop talking about well educated now. there were a bunch of posts about this somewhere lost in this forum where someone asked about ages and we ended up talking about school and stuff. several members came forward with info on their higher education.
Are you guys "refined" like your cars, or are you just "pimp"?:
MrSypher,
I just tried to answer all the comments directed to me (or as some have put it, bashing). Anyway, somewere along the lines someone asked if I have something to hide. Well, being that it was asked along the lines as its previous and followin posts, I figured someone else is trying to make a smart *** remark.
So, the answer to your questions is, it is directed to who ever asked.... if they were asking in a "smart *** tone". If it's not you, then I guess there's no harm done.
As for "no rice", hey, good for you. Who's to say that school isn't the way to the future, but until Daddy and Mommy don't stop supporting your "pimp" ***, try to stay out of "grown-ups" coversations.
Hmm, superior junior achiever but a pimp? LoL, I think you said enough for all to see what type of person you are, or pretend to be.

even if some of us may not agree to how someone modifies their car. We should at least give critism in a constructive way. Its not that no one has the ***** to tell him how he really feels but how would you like it if you decided to step outside the box and be unconventional? Everyone would look upon u in that way... Having a show car demands many different things. Vision entertainment (Hot Import Nights) judges are now judging paint in a weird way.. they say that with a STOCK paint job, you are given NO POINTS... Yes I agree a showcar must be immaculate... when I entered my car at HIN, I cleaned the hell out of it... but hey... my car is setup in a completely different fashion...
as much as some of you dont like his car? dont knock it too bad... We need the "extreme" show car type Lexus to exist. I agree that things are done to people's car that shouldn't be done, but we shouldn't knock them that hard. Because u listen to hip hop you are gonna knock on someone who listens to punk? to each their own.. thats what makes ownership of a car special.. everyone has their own ideas on whats right and wrong in modifying a car.... The general show public will be attracted by this car mainly because of paint and the type of car it is. He will get sponsored... full ride or even partial sponsorship.. if it will attract the general show enthusiast.. then sponsors will come... whether we hate the car or not...
One thing that bugs me is the fact that sometimes people (not necessary members here on this post, but just car people in general) would knock someone for the outrageous paint jobs, crazy body kits, chrome undercarriage, and what not, but would be proud of their "knockoff products"? especially in the JDM world... Its ok to have a "knockoff WIN racing kit" but when someone builds a "custom" one off kit, they get bashed like no tomorrow? Wouldn't that fall in the same category? Ok I understand u saved money but if you are gonna knock someone for how they build a car because "you" don't like it its not fair... To each their own...
*my opinion on the car if anyone is asking... doesn't float my boat, but I give him respect for standing up against the norm*

Reminds me of getting wild and arguing about sport teams and things. Its a off the wall gs, some think it is gross, some think it is ok, some think it is the next coming. I don't like the kit on it..oh well...Its just not my cup of tea. i am sure you will have bigger rims for a show you attend...ok...i am sure you will have the stereo going too. I am glad your fortunate enough to be able to spend your hard or not so hard earned money on your car, i am sure you have another car to drive when its raining or no shows to attend. lucky you imo. I learned real quick is that its hard to outsmart some people in here, i know they are more educated than me on the lexus line, aftermarket parts and overall design and basic savy. Don't get mad when someone says some things about your ride, take it in stride. Everyone should lighten up. Least its a lexus...without badges.
I give nastyboy propos for posing pics and for taking the heat, b ut I still think his car is rice and without a lot of class.
some features are OK but I still give it 2 thumbs down and only 2/10.
Sorry thats my opinion.

AS I drive around Atlanta and see the 2nd gen GSs with the "Paul's Budget Cars" temperary license tags and then I see the 15 inch chrome wheels, the doors are dented, the widow tint is bubbing, one headlight is out and the chrome door moldings everywhere, I get scared. The price of the GS is coming down and there will be more of this coming soon. Get used to it everyone.
Nastyboy, your car ain't my style so I won't go into it. Just know when you post pics, people will comment, good or bad. When I bought knock-off wheels, I heard it with a 5 page thread. I think the guys just want to tell ya it's a LEXUS and to do the job right, like GS4fun though, his cars are damn near PERFECT!. And to do it right and to do it right on a LEXUS requires some dough. What cars have you been hooking up before?
So welcome to ClubLexus, continue to post your originality.
