Hello all
Seems like this post has reached its peak and is finally letting down (knock on wood).
Final thoughts:
-Yes, I'm familiar with boards and with how people react.
I understand and expected not all members to agree with the style I have chosen for this particular car. I am not shocked that some people may have different views and may want to voice some opinions. In life, you can never please everyone.
However, the thing that I have a problem with is, people trying to "join the wagon" and take cheap shots, just because that's what seems to be going on at the time. I mean, now that it seems that this thread is finally coming to a stop, re-read the thread and tell me if many posts' make sense.
I have no problem with anyone who thinks differently than I do, nor do I expect CL to accept or endorse my style. All I ask is: if you are going to talk "smack" (which is completely different from critcizing) , then I expect you to back it up. For example, one of you went as far as to say that Injen is a inferior company, but then cant seem to explain why CL has it as a club sponsor (yes, I am sure Injen pays a fee, but if it's an inferior company making inferior products, why bother endorsing it and taking their $$$ ), or how much superior other companies are, compared to Injen. Where dyno #'s given? -No
There's only one person I think may have actually covered his (assuming its a male) points in a valid way (dont confuse this with me agreeing with what he had to say). Everytime he had something to say, or wanted to contradict what I said, he seemed to back it up.... everyother "critic" seemed to just throw out their say without giving much thought to it.
Also, for all those of you who kept your cool, which were plenty, thank you. I know you too took a risk by trying to reason with the rest of the "gang". You guys didn't necessarily liked my car/style, but atleast kept a level head to get your point accross and try to make everyone else act mature and refined as they claim to be.
Anyway, this could go two ways from now. Either we continue this thread, which has reached 5 pages, or you guys act as sophisticated as you claim to be, and settle this thread and allow it to die down. Either way, I or my car wont be going anywhere.
By the way.... please don't try to "knock" on people who buy their Lexus "previously owned". This car was bought new and paid off in it's first two years, hence the reason I can afford to do what I please on it. However, if a person choses to purchase their car used, that doesn't make them "less of a person" than those of you/us who had the fortune to purchase the car brand new.
-This is in regards to the last question, assuming it was directed to me
The car's I've built:
-'93 Honda Accord: Topless, shaved door handles, candy and so forth
-'98 Honda Accord: Best Lowrider Euro "Street Custom", sold for $35K in 3mos and currently in Japan
-'58 Impala: Sold for $54K, in Japan
-'93 Caddy Fleetwood: Sold for $32K, in Japan
-'00 Mitsu Eclipse: First ever (and only) on Hydros, full chrome engine, candy :stolen
-hmm, to make the long list short:
Late '90's BMW M3 sold for $75K in Korea, '01 Audi TT $65K in Korea
There's more, but then again, this isn't "club name your cars".
Also, I have no problem with pple who bought their Lexus' used.
I plan on buying my next ride 1 or 2 yrs used - no problem @ all with that.

I'm somewhat dismayed by the responses you received, I don't think they were warranted. In spite of initial appearances, CL is normally a great place, and there really is alot of useful info to be found here. Hopefully you'll stick around, and the road ahead will be slightly less bumpy!
