Default 99 GS300 start up problem

My car has 158k miles on it and its take longer then usual to start up after the engine is warmed up. Could this mean I need a tune up. I got my valve cover gasket done recently and they said there aas oil in the spark plug alley before they changed it. Any help is appreciated.

I would start by testing the battery. It may be getting to the end of its life.

Replacing the battery is a smart move. You will need one eventually and that would be a cheap and easy fix.

Most auto part stores will test it for free. Might be worth checking your current battery first then spending the money on a replacement only if needed.
