Default Battery dies overnight, clicks in the morning

My car has a strange problem, the batter dies overnight. Nothing is on and the car has no other symptoms. The car will start and run good all week, then overnight it will die. When I try to start the car in the morning it just clicks over and over. The battery is less than a year old.

What should I be looking at.

Thanks for any help.

could be anything from a bad battery to a short somewhere. Start by having a load test performed on the battery

Put a multimeter inbetween one of your battery cables and the battery. If the draw is excessive...more than 100mA do the following. Close all the doors and wait for a few minutes to make sure anything that may be pulling power goes into its dormant mode. Start pulling fuses one at a time to see which circuit is the one pulling excess power.

Make sure your battery terminals are tight. I used to get a click sometimes and other times it would start fine. Finally I popped the hood and sure enough I had a lose battery cable.
