Sounds like its not holding a charge. Best thing to do is take it in to auto parts store and have it tested.

And if you have had it for 1 year (not sure if you meant 1 year or if its the original battery), it should still have a warranty. If not, get a new battery.

On way to find out if its definately the battery is turn your headlights on and start the car and see how much they fail to light up or if they go completely off when you try to start the car...

If the car starts up then disconnect the one of the battery polls from the battery, if the car shuts off then it is not your battery, its the alternator...

If you have a voltmeter though you can just test the voltage, anywhere from 12-14v is good. If you are getting lower when car is on then it is definately the battery...

Keep us posted...

Never disconnect a battery when the engine is running. It may burn your alternator.
Battery warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect charging voltage.

Anyway. Either your battery does not hold charge, or something is discharging it when the car is off.

i tried to disconnect the battery when the car is running, the car didn't turd off, so it might be from the battery or something is discharging it.

you might have short on some where that drains battery when it's not running...
sounds like your alternator is working fine but when ever it's not charging the battery dies right???? if battery don't hold charge it won't even start the car unless you have jumper or other power source attached to it. might want to check any electric work you did on your vehicle recently

Check voltage on battery when car is on as compared to when it is off... Then you can properly diagnose...

yea, nothing wrong with removing plug, obviously dont want to sustain the car with it alone for long periods of time, but it should power it long enough to know if its bad or not. I worked at a lot and had a few cars sitting with no batteries in them, whenever we needed to move them, we just hooked a jumper to them started them and moved them around with no battery (talkin about just a few seconds of movin)

Looks like the battery isn't holding the charge. Get a new one and your problem should be solved.

It is strange your battery died within a year though...
