Default Good Bye Fellas

Its been fun checking out the forums and cars on here. I've actually been looking at the 4GS forums as I love that car much more than the 2nd gen. I still deeply love Lexus, and will be back with a brand new LS460l when time is due. I sold my 2000 GS300 with 158k on the od for $5500 and bought a 2006 750li with 58k on the OD with a bumper to bumper warranty. Car is soooo nice and I'm digging it. I'll only keep it for about a year then trade up again. Its been fun, but off to the Dark Side!

Congrats on the Bimmer I keep a lexus and BMW as well. Never driven a 7 series but I'm sure it handles like it's on rails like all other BMWs I've owned/driven. 1 year is enough time to miss your Lexus!

Actually driving a 7 series is like driving a very comfortable couch. It's pretty much an office on wheels.

^^love the body, but get ready for the electrical issues....especially in that year. If you keep it for a year, you should be ok

Yes, that I have researched to the end lol. I came to find out that its the 745 was the major culprit for the issues, a lot cured with the E66 facelift, but still not perfect. But for a chance to preview driving a $100k lux saloon thats practically brand new? I'm on it. It sat in the owner of the Adessa auctions garage as a personal vehicle after lease return from BMW. It handles, rides, accelerates, stops, performs like a dream. Now I get the "BMW" fanboys point of view. But I say this, I have never seen sooooo many heads turning {even chicks walking with their man} and necks breaking like this when I was rolling my GS. But, a BRAND NEW custom ordered LS460l will be what makes me return. "L's up

For it's size the car handles and rides like a dream. Nice purchase. My dad bought one that same year brand new right off the lot and still owns it to this day. The car screams respect. Enjoy the bimmer....

I was in love with this model/body style until I read about all the issues. I wanted 08 year model when they started coloring the carpet a different color vs. the seats...beautiful. Throw a nice set of staggered 22" rims on there, even more beautiful lol. The 745 line up is the worst. Yeah you can't compare the GS to the baby you are driving now lol. I mean, you are driving the 760!!! The GS looks like a civic compared to that monster lol.

Sorry, I thought you said 760..750 is just as nice, but not the monster I was talking about lol.

Congrats on the purchase. I've owned a modded 745i and a 750li. Every poor review about the 745 is correct. Mine was in the shop constantly and I thank God I was under factory warranty. The '06+ are much better cars than the '02-'05. Personally speaking, after getting into a Lexus, I can't say I'd ever go back to a BMW.
