Default Modding help

I am in the process of getting a intake (and extend it to where my bumper is), a apexi a/f controller, header, and a custom exhaust (after the cats). I have a couple of question so I hope you guys can help me.
1. Is it better if I get a k&n intake and pair it with a a/f controller or a srt intake with the piggyback ecu. The only difference is that the srt intake has a bigger pipe and that you can tune more than just your intake.
2. Which one is the best for the money? Apexi safc, safc2, or neo?
3. If I get the intake and headers. What size exhaust would give me the best overall performance? 2.5" or 3" piping?
This will really help with my project. I have a gs400. Thanks in advance.

I would do an intake and a neo.. you can customize the neo's tune foe add on's later. The SRT ECU is locked.

I was talking about the intake pipe and not the exhaust but anyway a 2.5" exhaust will give me better overall performance.
