GS - 2nd Gen (1998-2005) Discussion about the second generation GS300, GS400 and GS430 (1998 - 2005)

Curious if this is normal or do I need to change something?

Default Curious if this is normal or do I need to change something?

So, here is my set up.....

BC Racing coilovers
BMW 7 series style 95's
235/30/19 rear, 225/30/19 front
neg 3,75 camber all around

Blew a tire tonight because of camber.....less than 6k miles.

Toe is proper (between 0.29 and .40ish). Is there a way to keep running this camber with out having to go through tires so often?

If not, going to get different spacer/adapters and put the camber correct or at least not neg 4 deg's.

Any thoughts?

thanks

toe should be closer to zero (you'll get a little more camber)

camber sounds right for style 95's though, how low are you?

No, that amount of camber isnt that bad. I'm running -6.2 and haven't had a problem. Your toe is pretty off, mine is near 0.

Blowing up a tire can be from
low air pressure
old tire
bad seal
pothole

Pretty low.....

Unsure how low, but low....

I am thinking of getting 15mm spacer/adapters (running 1 inch right now) and get proper camber.....

Unless there is a magical device I can use to keep the camber but not run through tires after a month....

Pics of your set up?

Could it be me using 1 inch spacer/adapters?

Not the most recent picture, but the same tires and haven't had a problem since.

19x9.5 +5 225/35
19x 10.5 +5 245/35 -6.2 camber and maybe 0.02-4 toe.

My shop found some, forgot the brand, something Motorsports? But not Megan. They are 100 for both rears. Charging half hour install. Then take it up to the alignment shop. Hope I do not have to replace tires in a month.....UGH.....

I will be replacing it with better very soon. Maybe 3-4 months. I am sure they will hold until then.

I hope this fixes it!!!! Once they come in and are installed I will post my alignment results.
