i couldnt get it to sit properly if i taped it on the rubber trim so i decided to do something else. i cut off the metal clips and just taped the visor on the metal window rail. see photo below. to some, it may not be the best method, but i like it. thanks everyone for the replies.

They should stick on the rubber. The 2 claps on the visors pretty much set them in place where they should go and the double sided tape secures them to the window. Do a dry fit testing with them first so you can see how everything lines up. Then pull the film on the double sided tape just enough to be able to do a gradual pull of the film and push as you work your way to the edge of the visor. Take your time once they're stuck you can't readjust them!

Does not hook up to the rubber part. I installed mine a few days ago. You pull the rubber piece to hook up the clips onto then it'll fit fine

Thanks for the replies. Leaving the rubber seal alone, I pushed the visor down as much as it could and I can only get the tape on the visor to line up with the rubber trim. I will try again tomorrow and ill post pics also.

the visors will not reach all the way to the rubber door trim on top, the clips simply dont allow the visor to go that high
